Hell, David West was killing him in the post in game 1 of the 2014 ECF IIRC. I'm pretty sure he's just joking though.

But it's true. You guys either have awful memories or are just plain lying. I watched tons of Heat games, I remember all of the discussions about them, I know all of the flaws that I've seen for myself and were constantly used as talking points by people on forums and analysts, but now a few years later people have completely forgotten them and act like they went '90s Bulls on the league.

Wade was only at his prime level for about 1.5 seasons. I say 1.5 because he couldn't stay on the floor in 2012 but he was usually at his elite leve. Even when he was playing great during the 27 game winning streak he played nothing like the prime Wade we know, instead being more of a "old-man"/mid-range shooter rather than an athletic demon.

Longley could hit the midrange, set screens, and protect the rim well at 7'2, also he was a good passer too he averaged 3.5 assists per 36 minutes in the Triangle, that's why I compared him to Bogut. Bogut is better but in his day Longley was the Aussie big man. Also, part of Phil Jackson's defensive scheme has always been to keep three 7-footers, 18 fouls for use in the lane.

Ron was putting up numbers before the Bulls, he himself said he sacrificed to win games, and was giving Kevin Love advice on doing the same upon joining the Cavaliers...

It's not that Ron didn't have the talent, it's that Phil wanted him to play a role of lockdown defender and occasional scorer in a much reduced role than what he had earlier in his career, you could still see old Ron in flashes. You can't really compare a Michael Jordan-led, Phil Jackson-coached team to the Clippers, teams are deeper now on average than the expansion era 90's as well.

The '96 Bulls as of 2015 actually have the highest plus/minus of any supporting cast in NBA history

These stats don't take into consideration whether the bench attack was balanced or was it just Toni & Steve leading the charge nor does it mention how deep the bench went. Also let's not overlook who is at #3. This is why I'm super iffy aboutacquiescing to numbers. Can we agree customarily teams of the past shortened the rotation come playoff time

That was the rest of the squad lol. A lot of times athletes are the last ones to know they're washed. If Ron was a proven scorer in the league why would Phil make him take a backseat to a foreign rookie at the time in Toni? That's like Kevin Love buying into taking a backseat to Shump in my head. So if Ron wasn't washed at that point then at what point would you say he went downhill? With the Lakers when he was playing the same role for Phil forced to share shots with Ho Grant? All the teams I mentioned added a dominant player in the offseason to an already dominant team. If the 96 Bulls added Zo in the 97 season I would agree with your super team assessment

Shaq for sure, but Jesus?
:stopitslime:
That cat couldn't even recognize Judas was the locker room cancer until it was too late. And maybe he himself wasn't the greatest team player. I remember that Peter was asked bout him in an interview and he said he didn't even fukk with dude like that. I think his play slipped because he started hanging out with those hoes too much, Mary Magdalene and them. Or he heard rumors about his teammate John the Apostole messing with his moms Mary on some Delonte West shyt and said man fukk this team I'm outta here. No wonder the local media crucified him
