who did these usa officials meet? are you referring to the leaderless movement?:heh:
Is clear as day you and many others on the coli dont know anything about the Hong Kong protest

One of the leaders of the protest movement is Joshua Wong. Hes also the leader of the Demosisto party. The same Demosisto party that's linked with NED. Joshua Wong been in involved with US and US NGO's for years. In 2015 he receive some award by Freedom Home, which is under NED.

Another leader of the Hong Kong protest is Nathan Law, who just like joshua Wang were part of the Umbrella revolution. The Law as well connected with the NED and receive an award from them.

Its more as well...

Morey ain’t supporting shyt! He deleted his “support for freedom” tweet. Bron went at Morey for putting the players in that situation (how do y’all not understand this?). Now the players have to answer for something he should be speaking on. But I guess his “support for Hong Kong” isn’t that strong because he didn’t even stick to it

Morey deleted the tweet and apologized in an attempt to not fukk up the money further for everyone else.

Do you not get this?

You keep bringing up Morey deleting the tweet as if he did this because he personally couldn't handle the blowback.

Would you have preferred that Morey left the tweet up and it guaranteed that China cuts off the revenue stream which impacts the players?

why no smoke for morey?

lebron didn't start this whole thing.

morey should be getting more smoke since he tweeted the whole situation.

they trying to spin this and put it on lebron and its bs.

lebron has spoken out before.

he can never be super outspoken cause he works for someone.

but this not his fault
Lebron brought himself into this. Morey was already getting backlash but what he said wasn't wrong at all... It was wrong because it fukks up Chinese checks for the NBA. Lebron was basically siding with the NBA and mainland China but should've kept his mouth shut about shyt he was uneducated on as well

Nobody should be looking at professional athletes as political and social leaders... most of the barely got a HS education. Lebron should know when to step off his "I'm a social injustice warrior" soap box and leave shyt alone.

I’ve been saying this in the other thread, but this is what happens when people look to athletes and entertainers for leadership in social justice. It’s a very tiny minority of entertainers that can actually be that principled and that rooted in a cause.

It’s ok to commend LeBron or people like him for whatever gestures they make towards the cause. Outside of that they should be looked at for what they are which is people that can easily be compromised due to their business commitments.
Exactly.... Lebron didn't even have to fall for the bait of that question. Just say no comment and keep pushing. But he always felt like he should comment on everything. China/HK was nothing he should even care about. Let Morey say what he wants and apologize after. It had nothing to do with him and notice how his attention whoring ass is the only player commenting on it

I agree it was bad to do it public. He was only gon lose in that scenario. I agree with @Yungin that Morey prolly isn’t all that invested in the HK issue and posted that tweet on some ‘murrica type shyt. He should’ve faced whatever price came with exercising his right to free speech but LeBron unfortunately volunteered himself to become a shield by commenting to the media.

For the record, I see where LeBron is coming from because if we’re being real the NBA ain’t some sports ACLU and they’re about their bottom line like any other business. It a very sad state of affairs that Americans are being influenced in such a way but it’s reality. Morey should’ve considered that before tweeting. Or at the very least, he should’ve stood by his tweet if he was going to take that position and start up this whole shytstorm.

What injustice? You seem to be misinformed

Injustice is Dominican Republic's ethnic cleansing of nearly 500, 000 haitians and Haitian Dominicans from they nation
Be such a Lebron dikkrider that you think China's a bastion of justice, brehs. :dead:

They've killed literally millions of their own people, and continue to harvest organs of specific religious groups. shyt they almost gave that Ball kid 10 years just for stealing a handbag. Ai Wei Wei is the most famous chinese artist, and they put him under house arrest for nothing...

I knew that I should've retired from 2019 coli when people started saying 'slam ass' lol

Well they tried throwing Liangelo Ball in prison for 10 years over a stolen pair of sunglasses.

Besides, that guy said 'what injustice :troll: ' As if China's somehow a fukkin' just nation. Nanjing anti-African protests - Wikipedia

I didn't say they were targeting African-Americans. Mostly because there aren't many black people in China, which is already :mjpls: . "Why should I give a fukk :troll: " is stupid because they own all our debt and since this new administration has bent over and let russia fukk it, these foreign despots and oligarchs are moving closer in on our territory. I just had dinner with a former VP of Dell, he did billion dollar deals in China, Singapore, etc. If you think you can just avoid and ignore China, you're partaking in American exceptionalism.

On another note, your argument is the same as Soviet agitprops during the cold war when people would criticize their pograms and genocides and they'd say "А у вас негров линчуют" but that's another topic entirely.

LeBron fukked up by throwing Morey under the bus. All he had to do was say no comment. You can't knock Morey for what he said because he said nothing wrong.

Now you can say Morey should've stfu but you can't knock anyone for saying they want freedom for the oppressed.
Morey threw Lebron and the other players under the bus first.

And you can knock someone for saying they want freedom for the oppressed as they cash those oppressive checks.

This was lebron holding him accountable for being reckless in a way players wouldn’t ever get a pass for.

This is cacs finally getting their chance to trash Bron for off the court activities, and your chance to jump in.

Y’all don’t give a shyt about China Morey doesn’t either:camby:
