crazy that famous people don't understand that they can live like that if they want, they just have to find a small town somewhere where everybody already knows each other, and just become part of that community. Its easy for strangers to fan out over a celeb sighting, but larry, the dude from the down the street you just spoke to yesterday isn't gonna follow you into the mcdonalds bathroom snapping pics or trying any crazy shyt, because he knows you'll tell his wife he was acting weird next time you see her in the local grocery store. and he already has pictures with you.

Instead they live in LA or NYC in high populated areas where they rarely bump into the same person more than once and wonder why they cant find privacy.

I know folks about to talk shyt because its LeBron but there is some truth to what he is saying.

Jeff Gordon, yes NASCAR Jeff Gordon, has said NYC is one of his favorite places in the world, and he actually has/had a residence there to the chagrin of many NASCAR fans. His reasoning is because in NYC he is famous enough to get a table at whatever restaurant he wants but he can still walk down the street or eat in said restaurant without anyone bothering him. Thats one of his favorite things to do, walk down the street in the middle of the day and seeing people walk right past him. He cant do that anywhere in the south.

Many European soccer players come over here to walk around in relative peace as well. - Damn beaten to the punch.

Dog, when Chris Webber used to live near me, I used to see his big ass in Publix grocery store. Never bothered him or anything but it's definitely a little weird/crazy seeing them do regular things as nuts as that sounds.
yeah one time i saw boogie cousins at the verizon store :dead:

but i do think Bron is a different level of fame

He basically saying what kwame brown said last week that sometimes being a bust is better

People laughed at kwame when he said it but it's clearly some truth to what he saying

Maybe not as much being a bust but the notion of wanting to do basic things like any other human being and not being bothered.

But cause u LeBron James u can't

It comes with the Territory

There are places he could go/live and not be bothered. If you go to Yellow Springs in Ohio, Chappelle walks around like he’s just another guy. You go to Manhattan or Brooklyn and you can see A-list actors walking around.

It is a little more difficult for Lebron because he’s 6’9 so he stands out, but he could probably sneak away for a Starbucks run on the humble every once in awhile.

Lebron is a global superstar but he’s always been promoted as larger than life so it’s harder for him to downplay his celebrity. He’s “King James” so heavy is the head :yeshrug:

Just weeks after playing in the World Cup Final in Qatar, Kylian Mbappe was on the middle of Times Square like any average Joe. Had Hakimi with him, who had just led Morocco to the semifinals.

They couldn't get away with this anywhere in Europe.
