It’s 2025 got dam let this shyt go & celebrate all the greats.

Never hear MLB, NFL, or NHL fans constantly try to demean a player so they can celebrate another one

Nobody in the MLB, NFL or NHL has an entire agency running GOAT PR campaigns for them

You’re talking about celebrating greats when Rich Paul reached back to the Heat days for no reason other than to shyt on Chris Bosh. This is the energy your boy invited.

MJ remained relevant because the media talked about him nonstop, including casting the following decade as nothing more than a search for the next MJ.

I'd argue Bron will remain relevant for the same reason: the media will talk about him nonstop. They will spend years seeking the next Bron. The media will give Luka/Tatum/Giannis/etc the same obsessive coverage and quickly realize it doesn't keep the lights on like talking about Bron does. This is not me waxing poetic about how great Bron is btw. I'm simply saying the media has lived vicariously off him for decades and that shyt isn't gonna change when he retires.

Hell you already know the next stage of this will be SAS/Skip/etc type blowhards saying they miss Bron because he respected the game unlike [insert next generation player].

Nah. It’s just nostalgia. The Spurs played what some call beautiful basketball compared to today, but it was hated on when they actually played.
The world runs on nostalgia, people see something special and hold on to it especially if nothing else ain’t come along

He's this generations MJ. It'll last until his replacement, whoever that is.
