Jordans post game was way more finesse, better balance, footwork,up and unders, pump fakes & head fakes to create space same with his son kobe.Lebron looks like a robot who just backs down then barrels his way to the basket but it works

Yeah....most of this post would matter if it were figure skating.

Lebron is more efficient in the low blocks than both players too

Being in the post is wild mango tho, I would only shoot jumpers and fadeaway every single time to make sure i didn't touch a nikka. Smh at Bron wanting to get his jollies off in the post like a lil ass faggy

most of that was just really bad defense

Are you retarded? That wasn't bad defense, it was Lebron is so physically dominant that it's hard to properly deal him because he can just back you down if you're too weak. If you push all your weight forward to try and deal him, he can spin both ways plus he has amazing touch around the rim so he can finish with ease. If you do manage to seal him, not fall for the fakes, and keep him from establishing deep position then he still has pretty serviceable fade off both blocks.

Extremely simple but amazingly dominant. It's why he typically makes the better perimeter defenders look so damn small down there. He's bullied the like of Paul George, Tony Allen, Jimmy Butler, Kawhi Leonard, Deng, etc because it's like trying to guard a 260 LBS center for them.

:comeon: not hard to be more efficient when majority of lebrons posts ups result in him barreling his way towards the basket for lay ups and dunks and jordan and kobe worked the mid range and on the blocks

This is what I was talking about

So Kobe and MJ's were more aesthetically pleasing?

I mean, I agree but why try to slight Lebron's? Lebron went from being nervous with the likes of Terry, Kidd, and Barrea on him to being one of the most dominant low post presences in the league.

Of course he doesn't need to use the same footwork as Kobe and MJ because he's 6'8 and built like the Hulk. His game is very simple but dominant. He's pretty much Shaq-lite with Bird-esque passing out of the post,

I'm not really a fan of Lebron's game as much as most poster's in the coliseum but even I have to admit Lebron's post game has really improved, basically the top small forward/power forward at this point..

Lebron's post game still has plenty room for improvement imo, particularly his footwork and his variety in shots. He needs to better develop that Georgetown jump hook, also needs an up and under move ala Kevin Mchale

I basically agree with this.

I was just sayin Jordan and kobe had more range and more versatile post games and seem more comfortable working out the post. The question was comparing lebrons post game to kobe and jordans I was too young to watch bird

You gotta me careful with this versatility claim. They have more versatility on terms of scoring moves but Lebron is a significantly better passer out of the post which is why he's arguably as dangerous as a Kobe when he gets the ball in the post.

Lebron uses his post game to survey the floor and fire off passes to any spot on the floor in a split second which is why teams are so scared to throw a hard double at him. He can throw bullets, alleys, bounce passes, and anything you need for any of his teammates at the time.

You can see how tentative guys are to help on Lebron when he's in the post.

So he's more efficient and a better playmaker out of the post but he doesn't have the versatility. I think it's a pretty decent trade off

And LeBron doesn't seem comfortable working in the post? The place where he can fully utilize his size, speed and strength? :bryan:

its hard to judge, gotta wait till he loses some athleticism. Thats when we saw Kobe and Jordan's post game really thrive. They weremt overpowering defenders, just outsmarting them with skill and balance.

They had to have more range since they couldn't get deep post position like LeBron can, still Bron has shown he can hit turn around jumpers from 16 feet in the mid post, but why take those shots when you can finish most of your post ups in the lane. The point of a post game is to draw in defenders and get high percentage shots close to the rim so even though Kobe and Jordan's might look better, Bron's is much more effective.

:childplease: Jordan and Kobe are probably the two strongest two guards ever. It's hilarious how cats act like these dudes were 5'9 160 doing what they did in the post. When Bron's athleticism fades he will still be stronger than any 3 and most 4s. That said I don't know why cats are acting like Bron isn't hitting dudes with spins and fadeaways and stepbacks left and right now. If he has the option to just power to the basket he takes it...like any smart player would. Cats complaining about Bron's post game sound like me complaining about my dad backing me down in the paint and scoring at will when I was a kid.

Me: Come on dad why don't you shoot some jumpers? All you do is back me down and shoot easy shots. :sadbron:
Dad: Can you stop it? :mjpls:
Me: No. :damn:
Dad: :yeshrug:Check ball.
