Breh that 09 magic was the perfect squad for dwight:whew:

Still no excuse for bron not getting to the finals. That media push had me thinking a kobe/bron matchup was destined. The stan war that would have occured:whoo:
So he's to blame while he averaged 39/8/8 on 50% shooting? The rest of that team shot under 40% that series. Compare how he played against Orlando and Boston those years to how Kobe did. he did his part in 2008. Dropped 45 in game 7 on the road. The rest of the team shot 30% and scored 47 total. Man was one basket away from legit scoring half their points. In 2010 he had 29/19/10 in game 6 while mo had 2 points the second half, Jamison had 5 points on 2-10 shooting, and Shaq did nothing really. This isn't even mentioning mike brown (:scust:) was the coach. Same guys you were all claiming the lakers needed to fire so the lakers could win. Why not mention the fact that brown sucked those years too?

That 09 Magic team was trash.. The Celtics would've beat them easily if KG was playing.
Yup, KG was the anchor of their defense, when he came back the celtics whooped them magic asses in 2010 and that one orlando team was even stronger with additions of vince carter and so on.

This was supposed to be a 4 year span of lakers celtics in the finals rivarly but we only got to see two :mjcry:

In 2009 the magic were able to double Pierce almost every play because of KG's absence. Pierce still averaged around 20ppg even with a the double teams. In 2010 KG was back and they weren't able to double Pierce. Pierce probably had his best series ever in 2010 vs the magic. In the big 3 era, the magic never had an answer for Pierce. Regular season or playoffs, Pierce feasted on their defenders.. What im saying is, The Magic not being able to double Pierce was the reason we whooped their ass.

I kinda blame Doc for the 2009 playoff loss tho. The Magic kept double Pierce with Rondo's man, but Doc made no adjustments. He didn't subsitute Rondo because he already bought into the "get the ball to Rondo" crap. IMO, if the Celtics had any other point guard who you couldn't leave open, then we would've beat the magic in 2009.

Lebron averaged a 39/8/8 in that Conference Finals. What did you want, a 40/10/10? He was almost there! :ohhh:

Z couldn't guard Dwight for anything (26/13/3 on 65% shooting). Varejao was too slow to get out to Rashard Lewis on the threes (18ppg and shot 15-31 on threes for the series). Delonte West gave up 7 inches to Turkoglu whenever they put him at the point (17/6/7 and 9-23 on threes for the series), and Mo Williams couldn't guard any of the shooters (Pietrus/Alston/Lee hit 35 threes between them).

Lebron was absolutely dominant, but he couldn't guard everyone on the floor. He was the only Cav who could guard Rashard...but he was the only Cav who could guard Turkoglu...but he was the only Cav who could guard Pietrus...but he was the only Cav who could actually help when doubling Dwight...but the Cavs had a 6'2" and 6'3" guy trying to close out on shooters at the perimeter...so Mike Brown had him running around trying to give help defense on everyone, which couldn't last for long. WTH did you expect him to do more than he already did?

Lebron is the only player in history who will throw down a 27-19-10 triple-double in a deciding game 6 and be accused of "quitting".

Kobe puts down that line, and you'd call him MVP. Westbrook gets lines like that, and he's the second coming. But Lebron is so good, he can through down a 27 point, 19 rebound, 10 assist triple-double without even trying.

And with a hurt elbow, which he somehow managed to hurt in Round 1 just so he could plan to low-key use it as an excuse two weeks later.

I mean, Lebron fan boys exaggerate his performances a bit too much, but you Lebron haters must really be all up in his nuts with the things you say he can do.

p.s. - Lebron averaged 27/9/7 on 45% shooting in that Celtic series, while holding prime Pierce to 13/5/4 on 35% shooting and completely shutting down Rondo when he was switched onto him (which happened to be the only game that Pierce went off). That same year Pierce averaged 20/6/3 on 46% shooting against Miami, 24/8/4 on 51% shooting against Orlando, and 18/5/3 on 45% shooting against the Lakers. So Lebron not only carried the Cavs offensively, but he completely shut down Boston's best player. While quitting. That's just amazing.
