nikka get your damn facts straight in lebron's second season in miami (the lockout shortened season) wade played in all 49 regular season games + 23 playoffs for a grand total of 72 games....he played in every single game.
Dirk (a lesser player than lebron) was able to win without a premium second option which wade 3/4 years lebron was in miami. was so what's lebron excuse for not being able to do it in 2014 against a spurs team without a single superstars even with a hobbled wade and chris bosh it's still worlds better than what dirk had to work with
wade was in his prime up until the 2013-2014 where his play leveled off but he still was a above average second option on a championship team (i mean look at klay's numbers when the warriors won their first ring wade's were superior to that).....any statistical dip is simply due to giving the keys of the offense to lebron after the 2010-2011 debacle...had lebron not been there he would have put up his regular prime numbers as the 1st option
look lebron is arguably top 5 all time im not a hater though i hate his stans and feel compelled to balance their blind love with some harsh reality (i hate stans in general)...lebron was better than kobe who i like better than lebron....lebron is no mj no matter how hard it is for u to swallow....if he ever gets there i will gladly admit but chances are slim to none
Let me show how bias and media hype creates bullshyt arguments and narratives:
When he retired, Kobe Bryant was the ONLY player in NBA history to have 30k points, and both 7k rbs and 6k assists. He also was all NBA Defensive First Team Nine Times. Lebron, if I'm not mistaken, achieved this five times.
Kobe achieved these numbers, despite playing his first eight seasons with the most dominant physical presence since Wilt Chamberlain. Even then, he didn't start his first two season.
Now, despite certain handicaps that made putting up all-time great numbers considerably more difficult, he still achieved those numbers.
Why isn't Kobe ever said to be better than Jordan or top three to five?
Kobe is 5 for 7 in the Finals.
He put up all-time great numbers, and he won more than he loss.
Yet, with Lebron, the only argument they will bring up is, he will have better numbers than Jordan.
Kobe's totals ended up being higher than Jordan's, just like Lebron's will.
Jordan average thirty, and Lebron won't average 30, obviously. Lebron has rebounding and assists. Jordan won Defensive Player of the Year, and Lebron never did. Jordan has more All-NBA Defensive Teams. Most importantly, if Jordan made it to the Finals, he won.
What am I saying?
Why are stats used to prove Lebron is better than Jordan, but stats aren't enough to prove Kobe is better, as good, or very close to Jordan like people claim with Lebron?
What is going to happen is, Kobe's career is going to be nitpicked, like I can't nitpick Lebron's career to death. They ALL have things that can be picked at.
But for Kobe to not even be in most people's top 5, when he has the numbers, and the Defensive Awards that showed he was elite on both sides of the ball - proves that most of these All-Time Rankings come down to who the media anoint and who they do not.
