One thing i do know is that most people love control. LeBron grew up with a mother who gave him everything he WANTED. Notice i sai everything he WANTED and not everything he NEEDED. When you're used to that it's hard to let go even tho it doesnt work well for you.
There wasn't going to be any breaking through. The best player they drafted from 2004-10 aside from sideshow bob was maybe Luke Jackson. The best player they added to the team was mo Williams or 38 year old washed up Shaq. They had no cap space or draft picks and no free agents would go there. That team as constructed was never going to win. Not with Boston and Miami and Chicago to contend with in the east before even reaching the finals.Man when you break it down like that
