Anyone paying attention know Lebron is the modern evolution of socially conscious superstars like Ali. Since we live in a corporately controlled globalized universe, there are more considerations than in Ali's era, so being fiercely pro black can come with severe financial ramifications. Lebron has recognized this and artfully kept his views understated as to not arouse the anti-black hatred of a country supported by racist apparatuses. Im not looking for an athlete to be a Marcus Garvey/MLK hybrid. Hes a ball player. I just want to know he cares, and considers him to be one of "us".
