Or when his own teammate Delonte West was pulled over with 3 illegal guns strapped to him. Gun issues don't exactly plague the NBA smart guy. Things like what happened with Arenas and West are fairly rare statistically speaking, and more importantly, in the process, no one was hurt. Outside of the NBA though in general society guns have become a hot button issue. We're seeing mass shootings, where people are actually being hurt, happen and be publicized at alarmingly high rates, with the most recent one coming yesterday, so it makes a lot more sense to chime in now than at any other time. In fact, your analogy is absolutely retarded because outside of the fact that all these situations have guns, the Gilbert Arenas/Delonte incidents are absolutely nothing like the incidents we're seeing on the daily in this nation.

You trying to extrapolate this in to some kind of character issue for LeBron as though he's scared to face his peers is laughable..he's the most powerful single being in the NBA no one has him shook. On the other hand, your ill-founded hatred of him is affecting your ability to interpret him like a rational human being.

Hes 31 with a family, wife, two young sons and a newborn baby daughter

Seeing as he speaking about a baby getting shot in his homestate seems like it isnt a thing he should just shut up and ingnore if it seemingly hit a chord with him
