If people call you the best there ever was in such a suggestive/rhetorical fashion, that puts more pressure on you to actually win a ring.I believe LeBron had a similar article while he was still in high shool.I think those early MJ "GOAT" statements where more of an appraisal.I wish we could see a "Best Players Of All Time" list that was released prior to '91.I bet most of them would have Magic, Bird, and Kareem ranked ahead of MJ.
