the problem with this logic is that these stances are easy to nikkas without power...nikkas that dont have they money tied in with the same companies and partners they denouncing. Im sure NBA has a closer partnership with the NCAA, and hes indirectly hurting a source of his money by hurting the NCAA

if it was an easy stance, everyone from college would be saying "man I got paid, we all get paid, the NCAA is fukked up for making it "illegal" " But you hurting pockets when you do that

So many ways the nba can fix this off the top of my head

they could go like the ohl type of way, where you have to prove your "exceptional" so a hs kid who wants to jump to a nba has to apply for an exception waiver with whatever criteria the nba wants and if its denied to bad

use the g league as a real minor league system, assign a g league team to every team, bump the salary cap or do like mls where there are "designated players"

or do like the nhl does, you can still be drafted and yet still play in the ncaa

or just scrap it all together and make it like the old days and let scouts and gms do their job

If soccer did this sort of thing they really could swing a few NFL/NBA bound athletes into soccer. It could really work out well if they got the early jump on kids. Especially from rough areas. Brehs tryna get out the hood man.
