and it would work better in soccer because of how the pyramid is setup, where players are transferred for a fee and richer teams can buy so it's easier to recoup the costs of running an academy for kids starting at 6 years old or whatever.
If soccer did this sort of thing they really could swing a few NFL/NBA bound athletes into soccer. It could really work out well if they got the early jump on kids. Especially from rough areas. Brehs tryna get out the hood man.
LeBron to Adam Silver![]()

If Adam Silver is smart he would dead that mandatory 1 yr college rule and allow G league teams to hold a draft every year and draft players high school and college and those high schoolers that don’t get drafted to the G league can go to college and play.. Highschool players will not be eligible for the nba unless they play a year or more in the G league.. after a year those players can be elilgble for the nba draft and none of the nba teams have dibs on the top talent despite playing for a G league team plus it allows the NBA to choose from G league and College teams..
Not only do those too high school players get to go pro they get paid.. each G leauge team have a hard cap of 2 mill.. so that guarantees the best player or players on the team getting 100 to 500k...
Not only will G league viewership will increase, merchandising will too along with televising games on nba league pass..
Silver better get on it
:Imdeadassb:
Have a G-League 1 and 2 Team.Bron been reading my post on the coli I see![]()

You can enter the NBA draft after one season in G-League 1.The NCAA is a wrap as we know it....they will either have to stipend players or have top talented recruits ALL going overseas or entering a G League type of scenario...much like what Lavar Ball was talking about starting some months back. Actually BBB has taken no losses, cuz having his kids hooping in Europe getting paid while developing seems ahead of the curve just a couple months later![]()
What’s worse is the FBI took THIS long to start investigating, yet they won’t go after a Nick Saban, Coach K etc
Any dominant collegiate program should be investigated. Theres a reason kids wanna go there.
Im 100% Sure 17 year old kids are prioritizing coaching, /s
This is the truth.
When a 4 or 5-star athlete chooses to go to Alabama KNOWING he's gonna be 3rd/4th string AT BEST, you have to ask questions. Elite athletes are gonna shine regardless, so I'd rather get playing time and go to a "good" squad then be stuck twiddling my thumbs.
The g-league games would get much better crowds and television exposure for their games. They'll find a way to make money from it...they just need a structure in place.
Exactly....
The South Bay Lakers just drafted the number 3 high school prospect in the country and another 5 star forward!!!
Marketing will take care of that EASY
You guys are grossly overestimating how much people would care for what is essentially low level professional basketball. G League attendance MIGHT increase for the well known high schoolers (not many household names like Zion or Lamelo out there) but people aren't going to be clamoring to watch this shyt on TV when they can watch the NBA instead. And I've been to a G League game, saw that lightskinned cat who used to backup Tony Parker back in the day... Cory Joseph puttin in work in the minor leagues.
Seriously, how many people watch minor league baseball? The players would get paid and that would be dope tho.

bron tryna get bronny & bryce on the fast track*
