yea lets disregard the number of years they were in the nba at that age.. let it go lebron will never catch mj at point..

only thing he'll surpass him in is points(due to being in the league much longer when its all said and done), assists, and rebounds

Kobe has more points rebounds and assist than Jordan but he came into the league at 18. So did Lebron. No matter how you put it jordan is the Goat
Any comparison that adjusts for starting point, etc has Jordan and LeBron close to each other and Kobe a good distance behind.

Kobe gets the Jordan comparisons because they are shooting guards that are about the same size and Kobe copied his game closely.

LeBron gets the Jordan comparisons because of the level of dominance and overall impact.

KOBE @ AGE 31 BETTER THAN BOTH

Now, if you actually analyzed those numbers you'd see Jordan/LeBron are on a different level that Kobe. :mjlol:

And I love how that picture just casually left out the MVPs/Finals MVPs. :mjlol:

You forget 5 rings? 81 points? 3rd most points in NBA history? A months stretch of 40 point games? widely konsidered the second best SG after Jordan? They were compared since he came out of high school.

Kobe already had Jordan hype before he mastered Jordan moves. He was didn't have Jordan's style down to a T untill post 3 peat in the 2000s

Kobe already had Jordan hype before he mastered Jordan moves and was Shaq's little Robin Hood.

His hype machine has always been crazy but he simply isn't on Jordan's level and was never really close. He just doesn't have that same level of dominance.

You can look at any measure you want and Kobe just didn't reach Jordan. I don't think LeBron will either but its a more interesting topic because LeBron does have some advantages over Jordan due to his size and strength. You can realistically argue LeBron is better because of his versatility etc. Kobe, on the other hand, was a knockoff Jordan in every category.

I know he's not on Jordan's level I never said he was. Lebron is a better all around basketball player IMO but doesn't have the killer instinct, the footwork and it took him years and a 4 year trip to Miami to develop what Kobe and Jordan already had. The lebron vs Jordan conversation is current right now and being laughed at. Kobe and Jordan was a bit more interesting because his style of play is similar to Jordan's, copycat or not.

Let's see

-4 Finals losses
-played in an awful East
-had to join super teams to win in the East
-2011 historic choke job
-2014 3 turnovers in final 60 secs, bailed out by Ray Allen
2015- shot 18% in the 4th Q of Finals
2016 - needed Kyrie to take over & Curry, Bogut, Iggy to be injured & Green to be suspended.
- has only beaten 3 teams with over 50 wins in the playoffs :ehh:
