The bulk of the time the Thunder had to deal with playing out Westbrook was from Dec. 26 to Feb. 20, when he returned after the All-Star break. Durant over that 26-game stretch: 35.0 points on 52.7/39.9/87.8, 7.5 rebounds and 6.3 assists.

He 100% did the first season in Miami, and we're talking bout next season so....

No way media gives it to KD or Steph next year, they are gonna have to build that back up
if OKC ends up with the league best record, and one of those two have another MVP like season they will be in consideration at the least.

That first year in Miami, Lebron and Wade numbers both declined and they finished 2nd in the east.

Harden. Rockets offense should be beastly, Harden should be more efficient, and if he actually puts real effort into his defense it will become a major talking point that will enhance his narrative.

I expect Russy to put up crazy numbers, but will the Thunder even make the playoffs?

Nah, but I'm not quiiiiiite as sold just because I think Bron will coast durin dis season(and dis point forward in da future). Specially wit dat last monkey now finally off his back.

I don't think he'll coast to da point of " Breh, cmon wit da shyts..:beli: " but he ain't bout to overdue anything.

* On da flipside. Since he is now teflon, he could also be of dat mindset of "I prolly could cop dat fifth real quick tho. :patrice: :mjpls: " since his only 2 real main rivals for dat award have kinda cancelled themselves out for it.

Who da fukk knows. :yeshrug:

Idk why people think KD or Curry can't be MVPs, I think Curry will take a step back and let KD cook..I could be wrong though

Nope, OP. Russell Westbrook got the MVP locked up. Contract year, salary cap jumping again next year, AND no chance of winning a title. No fukks will be given by Westbrook next season.

OKC will trade Russ at some point between now and the trade deadline...they won't chance letting him walk and getting nothing for him...

bron will be the frontrunner for it, gonna take A LOT of work for someone else to snatch it. curry wasn't getting it 3 years in a row regardless. i really wanted thompson to be able to step up and win one (i know) but that aint happening now. maybe one of the youngins makes statement, AD comes back? KAT balls out?
