That foul to give is a tricky thing. It would have been good if they fouled him with his back to the basket on the catch, but they only had a split second to pull that off. I think they should have doubled him with a man fronting him.
If they foul him and he gets in the shooting motion, he only has to hit 1 free throw out of three to win the game regardless if they had a foul to give or not. So its either make one free throw out of three or make him make a fading three pointer from 28 feet.
