Yall boys really stating to get on my nerves with this Jordan bullshyt. I watched Jordan win all 6 of his titles and watched him lose many times before that. His legend has grown to ridiculous proportions and I doubt anyone will ever be able to match that.

In terms of skill, Bron is better. Simple and plain. And that's no knock on Jordan. Bron is just bigger and better. :yeshrug:

Now in terms of legacy, Jordan has that. But even that has become grossly exaggerated to the point Jordan was born of a virgin with his dikk already circumcised.

How is losing in the 1st round or missing the playoffs altogether better than losing in the Finals? Yall cats is on crack. :dead:
Amen to that one. I've been saying this for years. Jordan has become a fish story at this point, and people seem to now try holding the 2007 finals loss against LBJ these days. How the hell is it worse to lose in the finals than in the first round?

You need to calm down acting as if saying tha Lebron being more skilled than Mike is some indisputable fact. I don't agree with that claim.

That's cool but I notice no one ever specifies what they disagree with. :sas2:
I don't agree that Lebron is more skilled. You didn't go into any specifics regarding why you claim that Lebron is more skilled so I don't know what's with that smiley you posted.

Yes. I did. I said LeBron is a better passer and defender and has a better jumper with more range.

Same cliched arguments for MJ, never with any substance. "Mike was better just because. There's no need to ever explain it. Just because..."

Ok.

You haven't said shyt. I could respond to your "argument" in once sentence. Lebron is not a better defender or jump shooter. Where's your evidence to support the things that you're saying? What makes Lebron a better defender than Mike was? Lebron is a great defender at times but he's not as good of a lockdown defender as Mike in my opinion and Mike was just as good as a team defender. Lebron can sleep on D at times and he really doesn't like playing post defense against guys just as big or bigger. He wanted no parts of playing D against David West in the post last series.

As far as Lebron being a better jump shooter than Mike that's silly. He may have more range on his shot but his midrange game is nowhere beat as consistent as Mike's. Overall I think that they're pretty evenly skilled with Lebron being a better passer and Mike being a better scorer. There isn't really anything that either of them couldn't do.

So Mike was a better defender because LeBron struggled with David West? Breh, David West is one of like 3 people in league history who can say they're stronger than Bron. I would love to have seen Mike, who you say was a better defender, bang with David fukkin West. :mjlol: What kinda argument is that?

LeBron is a much more versatile defender and Mike was never asked to guard the other team's best perimeter player once Pippen came of age. That takes a lot of work. Work that Bron often does, but Mike never had to worry about.

Jordan's midrange game was legendary but not until age 30. Bron is only 29. So at this stage, yes, Bron is a better jump shooter. You can look at advanced metrics. It's obvious Bron is a much better 3 pt shooter as the numbers clearly show if the eye test doesn't, but Bron has a higher TS% (which BTW was a ridiculous 65% this year) which says a lot considering Mike was a much better FT shooter. Also consider LeBron's FG% continues to increase despite the fact he's shooting more jumpers. We saw an opposite trend with Mike, as his athleticism declined, so did his FG%. LeBron is a legit threat from anywhere on the court, while Jordan was only a threat from about 18 feet in.

IDK that Mike was a "better" scorer, he just looked to score more. LeBron said he could score 60 if he took 30 shots then went out and did it. So I also believe him when he says he could win the scoring title every year. But what good is averaging 37 ppg or 35 ppg when you lose in the 1st round? I'll take 27 and a Finals trip for my time and effort. :yeshrug:

I just think the "Legend of Michael Jordan" has gotten too big. LeBron is the better passer. One of the best passers the game has ever seen. LeBron is a more versatile defender. He can guard 1-4, while Mike was limited to 2-3. LeBron is now a better jump shooter, and the numbers support this claim. LeBron is a better rebounder. That just comes with size but it's still true nonetheless. In the post, Jordan's fade was deadly but LeBron uses the post to get close to the basket so no matter how well MJ mastered the fadeaway, a layup is always going to be a higher percentage shot.

If LeBron falls asleep on defense at times I have to excuse that because man does everything. Jordan was asked to be a scorer and play defense. Not even the best perimeter player, just defense in general. LeBron is asked to score, get others open looks, guard the other team's best player regardless of position, and he leads his team in rebounding every year in the playoffs.

Other than nostalgia and the lore of 6 rings, I can't really see an argument for Jordan anymore. He was the GOAT, then LeBron came. I wonder if the generation before me had so much trouble letting go of Dr. J or Magic. :smh:

I used David West as an example because he and Lebron are basically the same size. Of course Mike wouldn't have been able to guard David West in the post, he's much smaller. You cats get lost real easy.

Regardless of how strong David West is he's not even post player. He only posts up when he has a clear advantage. He's a pick n pop 4 and always has been. It's really no excuse for Lebron not to be able to guard him. He's just as big and should be just as strong. You couldn't name a guy that was Mike's size that he couldn't guard. That was the point there.

LeBron is a much more versatile defender and Mike was never asked to guard the other team's best perimeter player once Pippen came of age. That takes a lot of work. Work that Bron often does, but Mike never had to worry about.
This is lie that exposes the fact that you know what you're talking about. How this myth became so widespread I'll never know. Mike guarded Magic, Drexler, Kevin Johnson, Reggie Miller, ect in the finals. He had to guard Gary Payton in the finals too after Harper got hurt. Stop perpetuating that dumbass myth.

Bullshyt. Mike turned 30 in '93. His midrange game was perfected years before that. His midrange game was solidified as early as '88. I can't take you but so seriously since you obvioisy didn't watch
Mike play.

IDK that Mike was a "better" scorer, he just looked to score more. LeBron said he could score 60 if he took 30 shots then went out and did it. Lebron currently plays in a perimeter-friendly league where there are no real centers, no hand checking, and no hard fouls. Mike would have a field day in this league. Lebron is a great scorer and I give him all the props for his ability to score in such an efficient manner, but he's not a better scorer than a prime Mike. Mike scored 60 in the playoffs bruh. He scored 50 in the playoffs. Lebron simply hasn't done that.

I just think the "Legend of Michael Jordan" has gotten too big. LeBron is the better passer. One of the best passers the game has ever seen. LeBron is a more versatile defender. You sound like a hater. Mythology always comes with greatness that's just life. Does you no good getting mad at that. There's mythology with Lebron too. The whole "he can guard 1-4" thing is a myth as I just illustrated with my David West. Lebron can't really guard big post players on a sonsistent basis. He is able to get away with playing 4 in today's league because there aren't too many 4s who play in the post. Lebron is a perimeter defender. You're also wrong in saying Mike was limited to only guarding 2s and 3s. He guarded a prime Kevin Johnson in the finals do he could guard 1s when asked too.

This isn't about excuses man. This is about an honest unbiased comparison of 2 great players. Why Lebron glass asleep on D at times is irrelevant. I'm just noting that he does. I'm not saying that smile never fell asleep either. You're trying to make the case that Lebron is the better defender though. Mike is probably the best defensive guard in league history. Respect to Gary Payton.

Other than nostalgia and the lore of 6 rings, I can't really see an argument for Jordan anymore. He was the GOAT, then LeBron came. I wonder if the generation before me had so much trouble letting go of Dr. J or Magic. :smh:
You're just a hater tired of hearing about a cat that you didn't see play continue to get that ultimate goat love. You just have to deal with it man because that's how it goes when you're the goat. Hating isn't the way to deal with it though. The Mike hype is more than justified just like the hype about Lebron. I'm a huge Lebron fan bruh. I love his game and think he had the potential to get to Mike's level and beyond but he's not there yet. If he's able to lead Heat to this 3peat though with performances like las night he'll be in striking distance though.

Could Jordan guard West? No. Then it's a moot point. LeBron could guard everyone Jordan could guard. Jordan could not guard everyone LeBron can guard. Period. :yeshrug:

This is lie that exposes the fact that you know what you're talking about. How this myth became so widespread I'll never know. Mike guarded Magic, Drexler, Kevin Johnson, Reggie Miller, ect in the finals. He had to guard Gary Payton in the finals too after Harper got hurt. Stop perpetuating that dumbass myth.

I never said he couldn't guard those guys. I coulda swore I've said 100x in my life that Jordan was a better defender than Pippen. But that doesn't mean he always did. He usually did not. Pippen usually took the assignment of best wing so Jordan didn't have to exert the energy that LeBron has to on defense.

Bullshyt. Mike turned 30 in '93. His midrange game was perfected years before that. His midrange game was solidified as early as '88. I can't take you but so seriously since you obvioisy didn't watch

Nah Mike was a driver in the 80's. To say he perfected the midrange but just didn't feel like using it? I can't agree with that. He always had a midrange game but it became the staple of his attack during the 2nd 3peat. And I still think you're sleeping on LeBron's shot. He takes way more jumpers than he used to and still shoots 60% from the field. 40% from 3, something Mike couldn't sniff until they moved the 3 point line to 22 feet.

More cliched nonsense. Did hand checking stop Jordan? So why the hell would it stop a man twice Jordan's size? :mjlol:

And would LeBron be able to hand check on defense? :mjpls:

That point actually hurts your position far more than it helps.

I sound like a hater by speaking facts? Nah, son, you sound like a hoe getting butt hurt. I'm not mad at Jordan. I just understand there's a lot of dikk riders out there who are going to blow his legend out of proportion. I'm okay with that. :yeshrug:

Again with that "he guarded so and so one time" nonsense. Ok Jordan guarded KJ. That doesn't mean it was an all the time thing. If he was guarding a KJ like player every night his ppg would have dipped. It's simple opportunity cost. You only have so much energy. Phil wisely allowed Jordan to save his for offense most of the time. Same goes for your David West argument. That's one instance. David West is a big boy. If you're relying on being bigger and stronger than LeBron with skill (as you so thoughtfully pointed out, thanks) then good luck with that. How many people match that criteria? :heh:

This isn't about excuses man. This is about an honest unbiased comparison of 2 great players. Why Lebron glass asleep on D at times is irrelevant. I'm just noting that he does. I'm not saying that smile never fell asleep either. You're trying to make the case that Lebron is the better defender though. Mike is probably the best defensive guard in league history. Respect to Gary Payton.

I've seen LeBron lock up a wider variety of players. No opinion here. It's a fact. And to be honest, this is the first year I ever saw LeBron really slip on D. But the team was coasting all year preserving energy. I can't call Mike a better defender based on the handful of plays LeBron took off this year. When he decides to turn it on he's the best perimeter defender I've ever seen. Mostly based on size. He's too big and too quick. It's really an easy choice.

Ok, guy. I'm a hater and I never saw Jordan play according to you. Add it to the laundry list of untruths you just typed. :camby:

I assure you I saw Jordan win all 6 of his chips and remember when he was "a ballhog loser who would never win a title" as well. I'm a 83 baby with an older brother, mad uncles and mad older cousins. I been watching and understanding bball since the late 80's.

Your whole argument just proves my point. You're obviously blinded. You said Bron would have to 3peat to be on his level? What does that have to do with anything? He's either that good or he's not. That's why I don't take your kinds' arguments seriously. You're basing your argument of "who is better" on rings.
