Everybody talks about him "declining", but after that 8 game hiatus he took, he was just fine athletically, but his efficiency remained around 50%. The real difference is Cleveland, unlike 12-14 Heat, have no real offensive system in place. LeBron has to work a lot harder to create shots for himself now.

He was never a really flashy dribbler, he never had a prominent crossover. He was a great handler tho, a play initiator and just wanna those straight to the point type ball handlers

In the first year (and last) LeBron's Heat teams were basically iso LeBron but with a PnR added though He'd deny the PnR and look for cutters, attack, or drive n dish, which is how he plays now pretty much. The offense developed wrinkles when he started to post up and started setting screens himself, but ultimately he had to do everything because Wade wasn't much of a ball-handler and later on he couldn't even get his own shot

The only reason they're isolating right now is because since Love and JR are out, LeBron needs to man up and dominate his matchup. Kyrie carried LeBron in game 1
