He would've been bigger if rap fans were more welcoming to rap that wasn't promoting negativity at a mainstream level.
I don't listen to Christian music but I have been hearing Lecrae for years

to the mainstream yes, but don't forget the Boogiemonstres. If you didn't know, they were indeed Christian rappers and had videos in rotation on Rap City. No one knew they were christian rappers. They didn't read between the lines. Mondo and Vex(after the first album) were very dope mcs.
