I think it was something like she didn’t want to do extra promotion for Precious without getting paid more and it spread from there. She should have did the solid as Hollywood remembers those type of favors especially since directors speak amongst each other.
No she didn’t. She did exactly what everyone was making fun of her for - she got on her independent grind, established her own platforms, maintained a fan base, and counted her proceeds that don’t go into white aligned media circles that undervalued her. What are you talking about? That’s why Lee Daniels is circling again - what projects of his have you watched of any significance lately? Monique is more relevant that his brand at this point while he’s trying to distance himself from “the elite” Hollywood circles.
