shyt, the games that are getting 80s on metacritic now, would be getting 90s a decade ago. Our mid-tier games today would be classics if they came out 10-15 years ago.

Not to mention the fact that we have cheap VR, 4K graphics, and better online experiences.

Yep I get confused as hell when people make statements like that. This gen has been amazing as a Sony owner and this year will be one to remember in history for gaming as several classics could be looking to drop all in the same year.

God of War, Nier, Nioh, persona 5, Horizon, Detroit, Bloodborne, Sunset Overdrive, Mario Oddessy, Monster Hunter World, Until Dawn, Yakuza series, Breath of the Wild, Doom, Titanfall 2, XCOM 2, etc.

There are loads of classic games being released.

And y'all cats STAY sleeping on indie games but talking about "Triple A gaming is so boring". There are so many unique and amazing experiences out there, just waiting to be experienced. I've played 2D indie games that gave me Silent Hill 2 vibes.
