Cops don't care anymore in nyc. You can buy in broad daylight right in the park from your local sellers.

The only downside of legal weed IMO is you will NEVER make those random friendships again, whether it was the person helping you find the weed, the weed dealer, or just people who chill around that area. shyt used to come in handy when you were visiting a new area for the first time too, nobody ever had problems showing the new nikka looking for weed around the block :blessed:

Might be an overstatement but im sure that counts for a ALOT of friendships/experiences in highschool/college :manny:

uh the black market is in full effect and the only way most dispensaries even make a profit is by selling under the table as well so best believe that dispensary drops a large garbage bag off to a black or brown person who sells that shyt in their neighborhood.

Atleast that’s how it happens here…

Unless you’re Berner, you aren’t really caking off a weed dispensary.

So many regulations, packaging requirements, taxing, that you barely can make ends meet…

One it becomes federally then maybe, but the US government and tobacco companies own ACRES of it in Oklahoma and Colorado so when it becomes fully legal folks will be smoking Marlboro “spliffs” and Newport “blunts”…

I think if you from New York you can relate more to OP. In the city it was like a cat and mouse game buying weed from a certain block.

In my old hood the go to spot from like 06-2011 was 135th and riverside. I remember walking there once and homie told me to come back in a hour they still bagging up. I walked up the block to my grandmother's building and two DTs run up on me asking me what I was doing copping on riverside I'm like ":gucci: I can't walk around My old neighborhood now?". They searched me, didn't find shyt n kept it moving. People use to get locked up frequently coming from that block but they had the best haze at the time

nikkas are mad buying weed is safer now :russ:

Plus you can still get it in the streets if the "authenticity" is that important.
Nah. It's because that's basically OUR money. We were the ones who got the bad reps and jail sentences behind it. But now that it's in vogue these cacs legalized, and basically gentrified it
