I revisited Slick Rick's "The Art of Storytelling" this morning. Very good album, even with the overabundance of guest spots. If this new album he's putting out is at least as good, it'll be a success in my book.

It does not.

Kanye’s shyt was all over the place. Albums being worked on until two days after the scheduled release. Kanye going on MAGA rants. Artists getting beats at the last minute only for Kanye to switch it up a few hours later.

There was zero strategy put into those Wyoming sessions. Whereas Ghost, Rae and Mobb Deep’s albums have been worked on for YEARS and the Nas/Premo album has been officially worked in for at least a year. None of these albums will be rushed.

It actually wasn't that bad of an album. I've heard way worse.

I thought i was the only one who did mind the albulm maybe because my expectations were low before I even heard it but it was bad I actually go back to it from time to time

Rick has crazy high standards and is notorious for being picky with beats. Look at how long he's taken to release a new album knowing fans have been waiting. I'd be very surprised if his album isn't polished and extremely dope.
