The Big L album is called Rise Of A Legend: I forget the rest. Don’t know if that’s been posted or not. I was pages behind.

I heard at best Nas is breaking even on this mass appeal shyt. Dude really just loves hip hop.

As a company their doing well overseas and i’ve said this before but Mass Appeal is more than a record label its a multi-media company that produces a ton of stuff in film and television.

Really looking forward to Slick Rick and De La. De La has never had a wack album in their lives. Glad I got to see them live about 25 years ago. One of the best shows I ever saw

Nas and Premo about 20 years too late tho. Nas is still Nas but I haven’t heard a Premo beat that had me :gladbron:since I was still in my 20s

I thought so because Nas is the only artist under the roster that really moves the needle, I think they need some new a&rs and young hungry people with an ear for what’s current.

Where did you hear this?
I think it was a tweet from someone in the industry so take what I said with a grain of salt, But it’s believable to me. It’s not like mass appeal has a roster full of well known artists. Nas is probably the biggest artist on the label and I doubt he’s selling/streaming at the same level he was even 10 years ago.
