Is it safe to assume that we'll get a De La project in November and Nas/Premo in Dec?
I'm wondering what a new Big L album would even sound like, but even if it's a remix album with folks he worked with or contemporaries with a similar sound (Griselda) I'm open to it

I finally got my Slick Rick and Raekwon vinyl yesterday!!! Hopefully I get the Mobb Deep before December
How were the pressings? Slick the only one I've really enjoyed from this run so far so condsidering the vinyl.

both sound great to me. Strangely, Slick Rick's album is 45 rpm. That's not a problem, but you don't find many 45rpm full length 12" vinyl albums today. It's mentioned on Mass Appeal's site, but I never bothered to read it. It gives a better sound that way. In the past there were 45 rpm 12" singles and we all know about the 10" 78 rpm albums back in the day(that would break if you dropped them). Both albums seem to be 180g so that helps against warping. Slick Rick's album, you have to take the plastic off of it. I like to leave the plastic on my vinyl, but there is a purple ribbon on the album that you must slide off to access it.

October will be the first month to have two albums for the campaign, there wasn't one in September. November and December are left for De La Soul and Nas x Primo, I think we're going to get all the albums this year, impressive.
