Meth is at the top of my listIf they keep it a recurrent New York thing
Method Man
EPMD
KRS ONE
Kool G Rap
Rakim
Busta Rhymes
Nas & Q-Tip
I think they’d have to do bi-yearly though. The reason this current series was able to be lined up is because each artist was already at work on their respective projects before they signed to Mass Appeal. In some cases like with Slick Rick the album was pretty much finished and all Mass Appeal had to do was distribute it.
Meth is already working with Havoc on an official album. KRS is always working on a project, but i’d think EMPD and G Rap would need some lead up time.
HIs wife probably wants too much. And the Doom/Madlib unreleased stuff is goneI'd love to see Mass Appeal help get some new DOOM material
If we can get new releases from De La, Mobb Deep and Big L
Let's get the masked villain stuff sorted out!

Too much red tape and bullshyt
Every posthumous release Mass Appeal has been involved in, including the Pimp C and Dilla albums, the rights were held by one person and they were able to work directly WITH that person to make sure the estate was properly paid and the family was taken care of.
I’m not sure if the Legend Has It Series will remain New York centric or if they’ll expand it to different areas/coasts but I think it would be great to maybe do one more New York centric version then do West Coast/Dirty South/ Mid-West/ Etc.

Let’s not go too far, we might get stuck with a new Dog Pound album with the new “hospitable popsicle…” Kurupt, because we not getting the “streetz iz a mutha” Kurupt back. Or we might get suck with another “one, two, buckle MY SHOE” head ass Cube album.
It would be cool to get a new hieroglyphics album though.
Ice Cube would step it up if he knew he was releasing a project alongside other bonafide legends. I could see Cube, Too Short, Snoop, DJ Quik, Xzibit, Rass Kass and MC Eiht all dropping some of their best projects from a quality perspective in YEARS with the proper motivation.
Again, i’m not sure if there are plans to keep the Legend Has It series going or if Nas would want to expand it to other regions but from a business standpoint I couldn’t see why not. Cube still moves a decent amount of units and all the artists mentioned above are still active.
I’d personally like to see at least one more New York centric one. I’d love to see KRS-ONE, Kool G Rap, EPMD, and a few others get the hype and attention and spotlight that Mass Appeal has shined on this current crop of icons.
We talking about the next series for next year. I wouldn’t mind krs1 getting thrown into the mix. A crazy single by krs and nas would be iconic.
Juice Crew is working with RZA on a project apparently. Which sounds like a great idea.An 80’s series or Juice crew compilation album would definitely be dope.
