Legendary Franchises You Don't Fukk With

I understand theyre the sacred cows of gaming but I don't really fukk with mario or zelda...

I remember I hit a point with both franchises (specifically mario sunshine & twilight princess) where I was like 'why am I playing this? I don't want to play this anymore' and I never fukked with either franchise since

haven't liked a mario game since mario 64 and the last zelda I liked was majora's mask. I tried forcing my way through the next titles in the series out of some weird sense of obligation, but on the real: fukk mario & zelda. neither franchise has truly evolved since like '98

Splinter Cell. I tried so many times and want to like it so much, but those games were always both too difficult and too boring for me. I prefer Hitman and MGS.

Also Resident Evil...the gameplay is terrible I prefer the F.E.A.R games
