Me personally, from what I've played I don't think it's bad at all and I could be wrong...


but it just comes off as one of those series that if you didn't start from the beginning then you'd be in the dark trying to follow the plot.

I just never get around to playing them.

you're 100% right on that. thats why I laughed at all those clowns that started with MGS4 as their first game no wonder they hated it. they didn't know WTF was going on

MGS on playstation will always be an eternal classic to me
