Legendary Radio Host Art Bell Passes on

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) —

Radio host Arthur William Bell passed away Friday, April 13.

Arthur Bell, also known as Art Bell was the original owner of Pahrump based radio station KNYE 95.1 FM. And perhaps best known for his conspiracy theory in the paranormal, with his radio show "Coast to Coast" - which was syndicated across the nation.

The Nye County Sheriff's Office says Bell died at his home in Pahrump, Nevada.

Bell is scheduled for an autopsy later this week to determine the cause of death.

He was 72-years-old.

i discovered C2C when i was in college.
i was up mad late working on an art project one night and was browsing through the AM dial for some talk radio.
then i heard Art Bell talking about some 'ol off the wall shyt and it sucked me right in.

RIP the man who made us all want to believe.

He doesn't ask any hard hitting questions. There is a reason he earned the nickname Snoory. I tried to give him a chance, for a long while too. But eventually I turned him off. Art Bell was one of kind. He did quit one too many times though.

He seems like a good dude, I just don't find him good on the radio. I liked the guest host George Knapp though.

Maybe i'll give him another shot. It's been years since I tuned in to C2C.
