They aren't head and shoulders the best team in the East. Toronto is only a couple games behind them with Lowry and DeRozan having career years and a possible big acquisition for a Kenneth Faried or Paul Millsap looming. Besides, the goal is to win a championship.
Right now the Cavaliers are the 15th best defense in the league. They have no back-up PG, Felder and McRae are not ready. They are missing J.R. Smith's catch and shoot game and perimeter defense. The team goes to shyt when LeBron sits (11.9 point differential per 100 possessions), they need a capable playmaker to run the second unit and they need a reliable defensive big man now that Birdman is out for the season. Nothing LeBron said is wrong they are top heavy with some vets and young guns. You do realize if he reaches the Finals he's going up against one of the greatest rosters ever assembled. The team is flawed just because they have a good record doesn't mean anything. Golden State scraped them the other day, they lost to San Antonio in OT, and just lost to a New Orleans team without Anthony Davis. The way the defense has fallen off reminds me of the '14 Heat that couldn't 3-Peat. LeBron is 32 there is no time to waste. The '15 Finals showed us an injury to Kyrie and/or Love and the Cavs are done.
Also, this isn't a shot for Kyrie at all he's specifically talking about a back-up PG, the void Dellavedova left. The great teams have multiple playmakers.

thought the point was that if they want his best in the playoffs, they need enough bodies to keep him, kyrie and love fresh. cause he's right; an injury to any of them and the cavs are in serious trouble.

I've watched almost every Lakers game this season. Mozzy sucks and he isn't impacting anything on the defensive end. The Cavs only played him in garbage time or emergencies in the playoffs last year.
