There are so many ways to get into that mall I don't see how this is feasible. That means you gonna have to put metal detectors in Macys, Bloomingdales, Neiman Marcus and at least 8 entrances. You do that and the very clientele you are trying to keep will stop coming.

Like 5 shootings at mall in less than a year isn’t a deterrent for this demographic your speaking of.

and I don’t see how adding metal detectors to every entrance is a problem, Im not from Atlanta but I’ve never seen that mall not busy looks to me like it’s very profitable and the investment would be no problem.

I'm speaking on the appearance, and the hassle. Don't you think its gonna look a little funny to have to go thru a metal detector just to go to a mall? First question is what is going on in here where we gotta go thru the same shyt to get on an airplane or into the club where alcohol and guns are a frequent problem? Then like somebody said, if you ping when you go in, you gotta start removing belts, watches, kicks with metal in them, cell phones, jewelry, etc? You don't think thats a big inconvenience?

How many malls you been to where you had to go thru a metal detector to get in?

I never been to malls with a heavy amount of shooting. So it seems Lennox has a unique situation they are trying to fix. I doubt people who are going to a mall don't know if its safe or not, especially those going to spend large sums of money. Not saying people won't be deterred, but I think its better for a mall to care about the safety. We can disagree though it's all love

Can you imagine those uppity white people from Buckhead, Milton, Roswell, and Alpharetta coming to a mall where you gotta go thru metal detectors? It’s inconvenient and an eye sore. Think of the airport. And the increased police presence is fairly new.
