As noted, Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton in “The Rematch” has been announced for the September 24th non-televised WWE live event from Chicago.
WWE decided to put Lesnar on the live event instead of the September 25th Clash of Champions pay-per-view from Indianapolis because his contract calls for different pay for live events than for pay-per-view events, which typically feature longer main event quality matches as opposed to quick squash matches.
WWE simply asked Lesnar to work the Chicago event and he agreed. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter adds that Lesnar chose his opponent based on who he felt was the best Superstar on the roster available that night, that he felt would mean the most at the box office.
They're trying to sellout All-State Arena nothing less nothing more. The card was probably underperfoming in ticket sales and they can't afford to take a loss on NYC, Chi or LA arena shows.
at calling his PPV squash matches "main event quality".They really worried about whatever extra Brock gets from a PPV when 95% of the time he's brought in their paying out the ass to have him just stand there while Heyman cuts a promo

I dont even get your point in this reply.Yeah people are lining up to see the charismatic exhilarating Randy Orton get squashed on a non-televised match. It's going to be standing room only.
Should've put this on the Network.
For what? A one sided squash match with a forgettable card? Not worth the bandwidth.
