Oldest human fossils have been said to have existed about 300K years ago. Some of our earliest recorded history dates back to about 2900 BC.

So we only have about 5K years of records for a 300K year existence. That is about 1.6%

It's no coincidence that most of our monuments were built during that recent written history. That's our most interesting accomplishments.


I think the only prehistoric stuff I'd like to see is the soceological interactions between the ancestors of cacs and neanderthals. Also Asian homosapiens ancestors and denisovians.

I think it's wild that there were multiple types of humans all existing at the same time

I think we are very vain and arrogant as a species. I wouldn't even give us the privilege of being the main subjects of the experiment .

The universe is unimaginably vast, and our little world is like a speck of sand on the beach. No chance in hell all that waste would be created if we were the primary test subjects. It's like building a full scale model of new York just test the behaviors of 2 mice.
