Bingo. Indians in the tech field are overrated by the media. There is a clear agenda, to make them look like some type of tech superheroes.

Countries like USA, could find more qualified people, black people, in places like Washington, Atlanta or Memphis. When i visited Howard U, there were so many great coders, doing amazing things.

I agree with this. Indians are some of the best cheaters around. The get the scores (usually via cheating) to get in the right schools. Once in the right schools, they cheat, share old exams, etc. They get the grades and get the interviews at top companies. Once there, they learn all the unwritten rules and leverage their personal networks to help with their work. Then, they put other Indians on.

They are masters are working the system.

Can't knock the hustle. But, I've seen enough of them up close to know they aren't all top-tier talents.

Now, some of them are legitimately smart. Really smart. But, not the majority of them.
You do realize that all immigrant groups do this in higher education right? Thread has a racist undertone to it.

Its not a matter of cheating...

.The thinking is if a company can pay these guys 40k to do the job an engineer who demands 100k does that saves them 60k a year...

This is all changing though due to cyber security...All these companies getting hacked has sent a strong message globally that you can no longer get away with devaluing IT unless you want to be the next CEO on the news explaining how you got hacked...

I think it is totally comprehensible, when small companies follow this path, and they end up getting the right guys for the job. Well, they lack capital and influence, so they need to find another way, to establish themselves and compete with the giants.
But right now, we have companies like Google, Youtube, Amazon, Stripe and etc, following this path. Hiring unqualified Indians, just because they are cheap. These are companies that control the tech environment around the world and "dictate" the rules.

They are sending the idea that Indian engineers are superheroes and really good, when that's far from the truth.

Read these 2 articles below, please...

With its bad engineers and horrible internet, India is far from becoming the next Silicon Valley

India's Silicon Valley offers the cheapest engineers, but their talent is another story

I have been a programmer and hired many programmers & I can tell you most are way worse than what their resume says.

I would NOT be surprised if most white American programmers resulted in a similar ratio.

Most programmers I interviewed from various states sucked, including the U.S & Canada.
