That’s easier said then done for a lot of people

You're right but this topic is about lesson's learned.

Hopefully this will be the ultimate wakeup call for some. Fukk getting the latest $1000 iPhone when you dont have money saved up. Priorities are being reevaluated right now by many people. Yea you may have 50 pair of dope azz kicks but if it gets tough in your life, do you have money to hold you over at least 6 months.

Choose job that are recession proof.

I have only benefited (financially) during this, but its not because of anything I did personally, just because of my area of work.
My wife may lose her job though, we'll see. If so, i'm gonna teach her how to code cuz fukk all this "do what you love" shyt. Hell no. Do what makes you money and keeps you secure.

No child of mine will ever go to college for a non-STEM degree. I wont allow it, God Forbid

Not sure about Japan but yes SK, Vietnam, and Taiwan all deaded that shyt. One thing this stuff has all shown is that far Eastern societies are built better to handle collective issues. The west is in decline because of our individualism. The problems of the future will require collective action.
Guys, You shouldn’t trust any data coming from these countries.

I get what your saying but your talking about a relatively few amount of people. Most working adults aren’t even making 40k a year and live paycheck to paycheck. When you consider bills, kids, food, and random life shyt there’s no way the average adult can put away 10k a year

Having social anxiety is like natural social distancing for me, I'm just hyper vigilant now about washing my hands and germs

I get that. There are people that were really struggling before this virus. We're talkin lessons learned. This should be a wakeup to many. Prioritize your extra spending. Reevaluate your expenses.

I luckily started really paying attention to my expenses and spending habits a few years ago.

We all know people that have the latest everything but dont have rainy day money. Lessons are being learned now.
