I used to sleep in late as fukk, then my dad told me "if you're not up and out the house by 8AM you've wasted your entire day."

I used to be like when he would tell me this as a teenager waking up at noon on a Saturday, but I get what he means now that I'm older even though it's still hyperbolic. If I decide to sleep in, I never get important shyt done.

I'm much more productive when I force myself out the house in the morning to get my errands/gym/studying out the way. I thank him for this gem.
