But I've notice that people aren't too keen on the idea of listening to a new artist for some strange reason.. they'd rather complain about how garbage the ones they already have are. shyt boggles my mind lol.. They want something new, but don't wanna hear anything they're not familiar with. Don't know how that works...

...people like familiarity and they don't want to rock out to something they don't perceive their peer group as liking.... it's marketing 101..... that's why labels try to have their songs playing over and over again.... it gives the listener the feeling of familiarity while also giving the feeling of acceptance..... that being said, her music sounds straight... might give her ep a listen....
