Bone Thugs is my #2 GOAT group.

At their best Bizzy and Krayzie are two of my favorite rappers, overall their solo output doesn't really stack up to some others (Nas, Pac, Cube..). I will say they're still killing shyt to this day and in their primes smoked everyone they did tracks with.

I respect it.

Greatest of all time

See here's the problem

I would honestly need to figure out which Bone Thug was which then try to pick him out of the classic songs just to even begin to analyze this claim
..

But I just stop right there.

The GOAT would stand out from the group like Busta Rhymes did in LONS (not that Busta is a GOAT contender, just that the GOAT would leap out against any background)

The simple fact that I am trying to recall which one he is says everything

But

I still to this day only understand like 4 phrases in Crossroads. All their shyt. Sounds like foreign language Rap or sumn

Bone is fun to listen to and they made alot of cool songs and a few heaters, but I don't know if they have bars or not. And I was 20 in 1995 so I was right there

I agree with you but I think he's the only one I really remembered because he looked like Big Daddy Kane lol

But your second point I underlined is the reason they aren't up their with the top groups. Nobody really understood half of what them nikkas said in their songs. Anything else is revisionist history. Even Brandi back in the day made joke saying you had to be from Ohio to understand those nikkas

Bone actually has one the most diverse sounds as far as voice, flow and being able t pick out which one is spitting at any given time. Back on Creepin I could understand you not knowing which is which but even then there’s times when it’s easy to pick them out. Bossy is the most identifiable by his voice alone, Wish and Krayzie both have very distinct voices and you could never confuse their styles, flows are totally different. Layzie is sometimes hard to spot IMO he hasn’t got a distinct sound to his voice like Bizzy and Wish do and his flow can sound like Kray sometimes.

Krayzie gonna be on Dionne Warwick's new album, they redid the classic track Deja Vu

He performed it with her yesterday

He also worked with the legendary Coasters a year or so ago to redo a classic

Wow didn’t think he had support like that. I’ve always felt the same way as op. The way he harmonizes and rides beats with his choppy but sing songy flow is what makes the group. Yeah the others are dope too. Bizzy is 2nd but Krayzie to me is just :ohlawd:
