They only have 2 reliable scorers. Bench is washed. Duncan is washed. Green is damn near washed. How is it not an issue of talent?

they won 67 games while resting players and had historically good defense.....:francis:

i knew yall would pull this, and act like they were never that good to begin with

Game 2: More missed calls that favored the Spurs than Thunder with 13.5 left.

Game 5: You blew a 15 point lead in the 4th with a 90% chance of winning and blew it. Kawhi fouling would have sent Russ to the line to push the lead to 3. What's even more funny is the SPurs told the refs they are going for a steal before that play(which allows them to get away with fouls with their reputation), Kawhi failed to fully wrap Russ and the refs didn't call the foul(which the spurs told them beforehand to loosen up because they were going for a steal).

Won game 1 by 32.
Lost 1 game at home(to a 73 win team) all season and let a 55 win team come in your house and win there twice and close out the series with 3 straight wins without HCA.

Get out of here with that ref nonsense.

I don't know what you just read. But I wasnt criticizing the refs in what I said. I just said controversial.

Get out of here with your non-reading nonsense.

I mean they got exposed something serious :manny:

They literally had 0 answers to OKC's defense. That indicates a lack of talent.

He was still travelling his ass off in game 6. I will still talk about that even if the series is over.

The game 2 report showed that the Spurs were favored on more calls than OKC in that final 13.5 seconds. Manu stepped over the line 1st too, which is violation which results in 1 FT and the ball back.

The game 5 report doesn't account for Danny Green admitting on live television that they warned the refs before the play that they were going for a steal(to loosen up the refs for all the fouling they were going to do). Kawhi went for the steal and didn't follow up by fouling or bear hugging Russ, that's the Spurs' fault al lthe way. If they never told the refs they were going for a steal that "foul" would have been called.

Any argument about age or talent or refs is nonsense

The Spurs went out and got Lamarcus Aldridge.......*its funny how when some teams want new blood they disregard all that built not bought bullshyt* And folks were cheesing all over their face when he was giving Ibaka that work earlier in the series

You have Parker, Ginobili, Duncan, West, Danny Green,Leonard, Boris Diaw, Patty Mills, Bonner, etc....and won 67 games....dont turn around and claim talent is an issue....If I remember correctly the Spurs had an all time great points differential...

You have what people were calling the best 2 way player in the league(which is fukking laughable by the way)...the runner up in the MVP(which is also laughable)...the DPOY,,,,,,,,DONT SPEAK ON TALENT being an issue

Age was never an issue when they were beating teams in the regular season......dont bring up age now.....not having it

Some people will harp on that game 2 waiters situation.............but they lost 3 other games....and were UP 2-1 in the series anyway

Spurs lost fair and square imo, and I'm not surprised to see that no Spurs fan (I'm a bandwagon fan) is really making up excuses.

Actually it was watching game 3 that i started having heavy doubts about them winning this series. Might -finally- be "the end" of this group, after it was announced like 10 years ago. They got 5 rings in the Duncan era, still better than anyone (or tied with the Lakers) over that period:yeshrug:

It's about time people start calling out spurs

They are becoming overrated, people talking about how its the greatest franchise ever, but whenever they lose there are always excuses meanwhile when Bron or Kobe loses the media and everyone start shytting on them like crazy, one gets called choker the other gets called selfish. Even okc superstars been called bad names when they were losing games.

Spurs were 1st in 2011 and lost to 8th seed Memphis and the excuse was Manu injury
They had a 2-0 lead against okc in 2012 and then they lost 4 in a row
In 2013 they choked game 6 of the finals
They got swept by the suns in 2010 lol, how the fukk spurs get swept in the playoffs :dead:

It's time to end this old man era, tim, manu and parker need to retire, their bodies worn out too damn much by having deep playoff runs almost every year. And parker with manu been fukking around with those international tournaments that did worse to their bodies as well. They need to sign new players in free agency, try and get Conley if possible. Grizzlies just fired their coach it seems like that team is becoming a junkyard, may be possible to lure some of their players to spurs team. All these 35+ yr old veterans are useless when athletic players outplay them like crazy.

It's ironical how some fans are telling that refs robbed them in a few games, well thats how they got help in 07 when bytchass donaghy was reffing in the series.
