People aged differently back then as to now. Back in the day, once you hit 11-12, you were considered a man and think like one. Now, without much social pressures like the crack epidemic and so on, kids and young adults are like :yeshrug: and party all damn day

A sense of humor and a real personality comes from hardships. Back in the 80s and 90s were much harder than today's world in terms of getting the basics.

Totally agree, I'll also add that being in the spotlight too early and all the damn time stops these kids from developping a true personality imo. I posted something similar in some thread some time ago, but I see the same trend in the NBA.
