no, an outlet pass is a great weapon. Its a lost art since a lot of modern big men want to be small forwards.
Go back and watch BBall before the late 80s, and you will see big men playing outlet passes often.
I remember on sohh(during Loves 1 year at UCLA) when ppl (mysef included), used to laugh b/c all the announcers ever did was talk about his outlet passes.
Dude is strong.
When I played in the paint in high school as an undersized big I used to eat off outlet passes like this all the time...I'd produce an easy 6-10 points a game off just great outlet feeds. It really is a weapon.
