Maybe if Canelo's fight was pushed back a week is one reason why HBO pushed so hard to get dual rebroadcast rights of Floyd-Manny.
If Showtime is just showing the rebroadcast and HBO gives you the rebroadcast, plus Canelo-Kirkland, seems like a win for HBO. Why wouldn't you just stay on HBO for the whole broadcast...plus it probably helps raise Canelo's ratings and awareness.
