LOL at saying David West has more than likely saved 75% of the 90 million he's grossed. You have no insight into dudes financial situation at all. In a world where athletes go broke after retirement so often, the default option isn't to assume dude has some large pile of cash somewhere.
There's a lot of people who disagree with ring chasing and taking paycuts for the team.
If West has enough money saved up to "afford" that choice good for him, I still don't agree with it.
