I said from the jump that it was a confusing move too me because I didn't think Jackson was a good fit. I thought the last thing they needed was another non-shooter.

And when he first got there it was pretty much what I expected, then Monroe got hurt and they put Tolliver, a stretch 4, in the starting lineup and his play improved significantly almost immediately...

Could be. But he's not a bad scoring punch off the bench. Unless they get something really nice in return I like him leading the bench mob. Bring back the Alternators.
I doubt if Jennings is down for a backup role. Plus it's his last year and if he returns heathy and playing like he was before he hit hurt somebody gonna want him to start for them.

PGs dont recover from torn achilles that well.

Reggie Jackson is a lot better and is the better fit

An Achilles tear is serious business, especially for a pg who's greatest asset is quickness. I really doubt he comes back so soon looking like his old self. It's gonna take some time and those that are even interested in trading for him are probably gonna take a wait and see approach too. If the right offer comes along them if course you make the move, but I think he's gonna have re-establish his value for teams after that injury and coming of the bench is gonna be a good way to do it. He can't be acting like a malcontent either.

Nah, it was a good move cause it made sure the Pistons missed the playoffs and got a lottery pick. They had no business making the playoffs this year, they would have to choose between resigning Monroe or going after Draymond and still having a gaping hole at SF, now they can re-sign Monroe or get Draymond and end up with one of the SFs in the draft.

Hezonja / Porzingis / Winslow / Johnson one of these guys will be there for them to draft.
:wow: the prophet @Malta

Does Jennings take a backup role or do they have to move him? I like this Pistons squad as is with Jackson at the point. The Morris twin has been a nice addition. I always thought they canceled each other out by being on the same team

I don't understand why y'all nikkas live on these players downfalls.

Dude is trying to make a name for himself and not live under Westbrook's shadow and nikkaz still trying to hate?
