I used to think Meek was trash but after Dreamchasers 2 and 3...He is above average in my book.

camel comes on the song talking about a red ghost and getting ghost with Pac man

meek has no actual technical proficiency at all.
whereas migos even though they are on slower bpm's than bone, mystic style era triple6 and freestyle fellowship.
they still execute one of the harder syllable conscious styles in rap history to master.
plus, do so with clarity.
while employing technical proficiency in a double or quadruple time style.
with clear three syllable flows, and also,...utilize interior rhyming as canceling mechanism.
on top of interior rhyming on a level that is past the proficiency of most people who bit triple6/chamillionaire/twista/bone/fellowship.
in this current era of trap guys, who utilize the style who are not those aforementioned emcees.
if they go outside the double time realm.
they also, employ stock three syllable rhyming for that style with style changes and a mastered character based delivery.
while also, staying on pocket and are on key, for that style of rap.
which creates actual characterization on reel.
plus, change styles, and have more skill in every aspect than meek mill.
they are also,..a great gateway rap group.
where I can use them to get someone into trap music, with no question.
whereas meek mill is a chore for any gateway fan to listen to.
to the point,..meek has no gateway go to record.
to point to, that I can say.
you could listen to that record and want to hear more from the philly rap scene.
if I play a migos record, as a gateway entry.
they create some excitement, fun, and intrigue into the rest of the ATL club/lockdown/skate/trap scene.
while also, getting across the feel of the entire movement.
you can not do that with meek mill at all.
he is not even a great gateway listen to expose people to philly rap.
nor, is he a good gateway listen to expose anyone to what quality eastcoast rap is.
as he is a eastcoast guy out of his element on any sonic landscape, he raps on.
which make him offkey, every record.
