in what looks to be a pretty decisive win for obama and the down tickets, tonight marks the beginning of the resurgent black man and woman. obama is an educated and enlightened black man who defies the stereotypes cacs use to justify their racist behavior, a brother who spat in their face and brought the fight to them! he's joined by a beautiful black woman who stood by his side an went to bat for him on the stump, proudly defending her BLACK husband against the lies his opposition continually spewed. the two of them have two beautiful BLACK children, forming a family bound by integrity and a love of self.

tonight is bigger than even four years ago. this man, our president, has been under assault by the right since he took office in 2008. they drummed up as many accusations as they could, doing everything in their power to derail his presidency, trying in vain to paint him as an incompetent black man who shouldn't be in the white house. instead obama went on to craft historic legislation that will mark his first term as one of the most productive and transformative that our nation has seen since FDR. he not only signed that legislation into law, he defended his record and won a second term.

this is a very good look for black men and women. but it's also going to make a LOT of cacs very angry. be proud but be vigilant, black people.

:salute:

Real ass thread. This is a W for the black race

i feel like it'll take a couple days for the majority of black america to look at what just happened and go :ooh:

but today was, as you said, a huge W for black people. and it's going to make a lot of whites even angrier, but this is an amazing feeling right now. i really hope more young black men take notice and smarten up.

I find it sad that the threadstarter feels it took this event to "mark the beginning of the 'resurgent' black man and woman", like black people haven't personally been inspired to better themselves before this.
