So what do you suggest we do from 1 -10 on Sundays?
While I do think the OP is bitter his team sucks, I never understand this line of thinking. Are you that addicted to football that you can't think of anything else to do on a Sunday in Fall. Play with your kids. Start up a hobby. Play video games. Get some work done. There's plenty of shyt to do if you want to ignore football.

lets be real, without fantasy NFL would be only NBA level of popular instead "runaway biggest sport in america" popularNFL is enjoyable because of gambling
One of the best posters here.I was gonna make a thread similar in tone, but not so grand. For ME, if it's not the Packers, I have lost alot of interest in the rest of the league. Maybe it has something to do with me basically taking last year off, but the pull isn't there for me anymore. I was more interested in the Rangers/Royals game yesterday than I was anything non-Packer related, and I watched zero seconds of the Sunday Night game (though I tend to avoid Bears games anyways).
And hate it or love it, the quality of play HAS dipped. I mean, just take our game: most will probably call it the best game of the day, yet both teams played pretty damn bad. It came down to who fukked up last, and that ended up being us. I don't know if you can ever say the NFL has "fallen off", because as long as it's around, the popularity numbers will suggest otherwise (the reaction in this thread is a perfect example), but I definitely don't think it's the same as it ever was. Anyone that won't admit that, needs to take the rosy-colored glasses off.

at people who just go by games that feature "game-winning drives" and "close games" as if they're all created equal.
