But yah it's silly imo, but ultimately that holds no more weight than believing it isn't silly, it's just a word, a non "royal" person denying themselves the right to use it seems weird and derogatory to me as well so whatever floats your boat.

I don't understand why people especially black people have a problem with other black people referring to other black people as king or queen. Comes off as jealousy and hate to me.

I'm literally baffled right now at the objection some of you have to blacks referring to other blacks in an uplifting and positive manner even if its to a stranger in passing with zero knowledge of their character .
