Will was cool, but the funniest episodes were with Carlton (and sometimes Jazz), but mainly Carlton. Will was a wannabe and wasn't as cool as he thought he was.

Will was the funniest in like the first 3 seasons of the show. Then once Carlton developed his personality he became the funniest in the show.

In the 80's Carlton was the coolest Black kid on TV. From Tap Dance Kid to Silver Spoons to Commercials with MJ....Carlton was already making noise in the 80's before he became Carlton.

Yep first few seasons both characters were meh tbh, neon color wearing Will was corny and Carlton was too stoic. Soon as they found their stride as the show went on they got way better.
