Lets be honest, Christian Bale should win Best Actor for his role in American Hustler...

As someone that absolutely loved everything about Chiwitel Ejiofor and 12 years a slave, Christian Bale DEFINITELY put on the best performance i have had the pleasure of seeing in all the movies released last year in American Hustler. YES better than Leo in Wolf, YES better than Chiwitel in 12 Years, YES better than Matthew Maconohey in Dallas Buyers Club. Honestly, last year was a great year for original movies, but i most definitely feel Christian Bale put on one of the most amazing performances i've ever seen. He really captured the essence of a 70's NY Italian so fukking well.

Great movie as well and probably my favorite from last year.

This shyt and Wolf of Wall Street were both overrated, and I thought I'd love both. A lot of the performances in American, especially the scene towards the end with Bale and Renner in his house were just overacted and messy. The movie overall just seemed to be in love with itself.

Leo should win. Matt will win. Bale was excellent and that movie was not overrated at all . It just was not on Leo level and Matt killing it.
